This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Secrets Out, our mobile party game application.

By using Secrets Out, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We collect only what we need to provide the game experience. We never sell your personal data.
1) Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: When you sign up using Apple or Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if available).
- Authentication: We use authentication tokens to validate your login. We do not collect or store your passwords.
TikTok integration
If you choose to link your TikTok account, we collect:
- Profile information: Username and avatar
- Video interactions: List of videos you’ve liked, reposted, and favorited
Important: We do not collect or store your TikTok credentials. We only access data you explicitly authorize through TikTok’s official authentication flow.
Automatically collected data
- Device data: Device model, operating system version, and app version
- Gameplay data: Room codes, game rounds, votes, guesses, and scores—used to run the game and enable fair gameplay
- Crash reports: Error logs and performance data to help us fix bugs
2) How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Run the game and enable multiplayer party sessions
- Display TikTok content during gameplay
- Manage your account and subscriptions
- Fix bugs and improve the app
- Prevent fraud and abuse
3) How we share your data
We do not sell your personal data.
Your data may be shared with:
- Apple: App Store payments and device authentication
- RevenueCat: Subscription management
- Cloud providers: Server and database hosting
- Sentry: Crash reporting and bug fixes (personal info minimized)
- TikTok API: To retrieve your liked/reposted videos (only data you authorize)
4) Data retention
- Active account: Data retained while your account exists
- Account deletion: Data removed within 30 days of deletion request
- Gameplay data: Retained for service operation; anonymized over time
5) Security
- All data encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Access to user data is restricted
- We monitor for unauthorized access

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Delete your account and data

7) Age requirements
Secrets Out is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using Secrets Out, you consent to this transfer.
9) Policy updates
We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll notify you of significant changes via the app and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
